A Prize Distribution at My School

Last Monday was our Annual Prize Distribution Day. A famous scientist was our chief guest. He took his seat on the stage in the central hall.

He was satisfied with the progress of the school. He praised the pupils and teachers. He gave us some good advice. He sat down. We clapped.

Then the prize-winners went to chief guest one by one. The chief guest gave away the prizes. I was a prize-winner. I went to the chief guest six times to receive my prizes. There were loud cheers from audience. My parents were presents. They were proud of me. Then we sang the National Anthem. The function was over.
